Welcome to BROCARIS (pronounced: bro-KAR-iss)

Approaching the planet from orbit, you can see that BROCARIS is a gaseous world of many layers. Purplish skies are viewed from space as well as within the many layers of atmosphere. The planet's six small planetary rings are of high-density, and made primarily of ice, dust and rock. Of it's 33 Moons, the four largest are Oiliot, Tataa, Kylai, and Mai and are volcanically active.

Upon entering the first layer of BROCARIS' atmosphere, it is hinted that this world has no solid surface. But the action of atmosphere and the many different chemical compositions of it have potential to support lifeforms. The milky, murky mist dapples the light from the nearest star into a purple kaleidascope.

Calmness once again before entering the second layer. Now, moody light is sprinkled with dusty particles that sparkle randomly through the viewscreen. The pressure is higher here and bluish lightning flashes within murkier cloud formations.

Once again, a calmness separates the atmospheric layers. Now, upon drifting downward to the third layer, the weight of BROCARIS is upon your craft. There is more warmth here and a violet dustlike powder fills the air. Mollusc-like creatures with green eyes hover in small packs to gather the violet powder with mouthlike openings. They are soundless.

The fourth layer of atmosphere is thick with dark colors and shapes. Huge, ballooning lifeforms swim in the heavy skies with little effort. They float and drink in the light, converting it to energy. They drift for years without incident. They appear to have no predators and their existence is peaceful.

Then, down into the deepest layer of BROCARIS you fall. Movement is difficult in the heavy atmosphere, but the power of ancient spirits reign pulls your mind within. There is little motion in the skies, and the light is very dim. But here, at the planet's nucleus, reigns a species very old and highly evolved. Their appearance is only shadow now, having moved into a gaseous form. But their voices can be heard singing in the clouds.

FInally rising once again to orbit, your craft leaves behind the powerful, yet tranquil halcyon of BROCARIS to the eternal expanse of deep space.
